Why NammaQ exists
Every day, millions of people across India stand in physical lines — at clinics, banks, salons, government offices — for something a phone could do for them instead.
The problem we saw
A queue isn't just wasted time. It's a patient standing when they should be resting, a shop owner short-staffed because someone's watching the door, a customer who walks away rather than wait and never comes back. Existing queue systems assumed a smartphone app and a data plan a customer would install just for one clinic visit — so most small businesses in India never got one at all.
What we built instead
NammaQ starts from what people already have open: WhatsApp, and a phone's browser. No app to install, no account to create just to wait in a line. A customer scans a QR code or sends a WhatsApp message, and the rest — position, wait estimate, the call itself — happens on a channel they already check constantly.
Tamil Nadu first
NammaQ is built and supported from Tamil Nadu, for the businesses here first — with genuine Tamil throughout the product, not machine-translated English. The plan is the same one that's worked for other India-first products: get it right in one state with real pilots, then expand city by city.
What we won't do
We don't sell, rent or share your customers' phone numbers — not to advertisers, not to anyone. It's a trust line we treat as a hard rule, not a marketing slogan, because the moment a business owner can't trust us with their customers' numbers, they can't trust us with their queue either.
